The Cavalls del Vent Festival is a non-competitive march that consists of completing the complete Cavalls del Vent trek in less than 24 h. We provide you with the necessary supplies, tracking chip, final meal, exclusive Welcome Pack and passport that you must stamp when passing by each mountain hut.
This edition will have 2 distances: OPEN and HALF. The 2 distances start at the Rebost mountain hut and the direction is counterclockwise.
The OPEN will be divided into 3 sections:
- Rebost – Serrat de les Esposes: 23 km
- Serrat de les Esposes – Gresolet: 32,1 km
- Gresolet – Rebost: 29,1 km
The HALF will only have 1 section Rebost – Rebost: 42 km.
The OPEN can be done alone or in relays of 2 or 3 people. For the option in 2 relays the change will be made in Gresolet. For the option in 3 relays the changes will be in Serrat de les Esposes and Gresolet.
ITRA and UTMB Index points:
- OPEN CDV, Complete trek, 84,2 km: 4 ITRA points and UTMB Index 100K.
- HALF CDV, 42 km: 2 ITRA points and UTMB Index 50K.

5:00 OPEN Start.
6:00 HALF Start. - Sunday 21 June
5:00 Deadline for arrival OPEN and HALF.
Available time
We will leave the Rebost refuge at 5:00 in the morning for the OPEN and at 6:00 for the HALF, and we will have 24 h to complete the tour. If you haven't collected your Passport to seal in each shelter the day before, come in enough time. Please note that it will be night and the use of the front at check out will be mandatory.
Provisioning
The refreshments will be located in the shelters. Soon we will publish the content of each refreshment station.
Non-competitive event
This is a NON-competitive march where everyone goes at their own pace. You'll be able to run, Of course, and stop, walk and contemplate the beauty that will surround you at every step. At the end, the former will have the same as the last: Smiles, Congratulations, a cold drink and a hot meal on the table.
Arrival meal

Tracking
El seguimiento mediante chip será realizado por Livetrail. In the case of relay events, The chip will pass from participant to participant until you reach the end of the route.

Remember that the itinerary is marked exclusively with the fixed markings, under no circumstances is it marked with flags or ribbons. Without GPS you can follow the crossing if you are attentive, we still recommend its use or, failing, the one on the official map.
